CPSA International Exhibition
I’m thrilled to be one of the 107 artists juried into the 34th Colored Pencil Society of America International Exhibition. I Looked to the Sky As I Died makes my 15th acceptance, so I’ll receive special recognition for that during the awards banquet. The show will run June 26 – August 1 at Yavapai College’s Prescott Art Gallery, in Prescott, AZ. The gallery is hosting an opening reception Friday, June 26 5:00 – 7:00 PM. CPSA will hold a closing artists reception on August 1 2:00 – 5:00 PM. The gallery’s link: https://www.ycarts.org/yc-prescott-gallery

“More Than A Line” invitational exhibit July 10 – September 25
I’m honored to be included in “More Than A Line”, an invitational exhibit of drawings in the city of Danville, CA’s Village Theatre Art Gallery July 10 – September 25. In their words, “Centered on the simple pencil, the exhibition explores how a single medium can produce an extraordinary range of styles, textures, and expression.” Seven of my originals will be on display! The opening reception is Friday, July 10, 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Learn more here: https://www.danville.ca.gov/227/Village-Theatre-Art-Gallery

Salon at the Triton
The 2026 Salon at the Triton is currently on display at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, CA through August 16. There were over 2,500 submissions for this statewide 2-D competition, from which only 117 works were selected–fewer than 5%! And my “Waiting” is one of them. https://www.tritonmuseum.org/on-view/2026-salon-at-the-triton-exhibition

Fall colored pencil classes
My next six-week colored pencil classes, “Introduction to Colored Pencil”, and “Colored Pencil – Building on the Basics” are already scheduled for September at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto. It’s not too early to sign up! Follow the links to find out more and register:
