The AOI are thrilled to introduce our new branding illustrations, created by Zosia Bońkowska (Zovska)
Zosia’s illustrations are expressive, textural and full of character. Although created digitally, one can still distinguish the playful strokes direct the human hand.
Working across brand identity, packaging, design and editorial, forming a very dynamic and versatile portfolio.
We first noticed Zosia’s works through her self-initiated entry to the 2025 World Illustration Awards, which was shortisted in the Design Product & Packaging Category.
Drawn by her characters and application of textures, we briefed her to represent various scenarios that affect illustrators on a daily basis, and to reflect some of the core areas the AOI support with, such as 1-1 support, finding opportunities, campaigning on behalf of illustrators, overcoming challenges and being part of a community. The result is a set of illustrations celebrating our members and championing our mission, all vividly depiced in her signature style.
Zosia operates under the one-person studio moniker Zovska. Originally from Poland and now based in East London, she creates quirky characters full of humour to find eye-catching design solutions for brands, publications and institutions. Her selected client list includes Glug, The Telegraph, Wine52, The Guardian, Boudica and more.
You will start spotting these illustrations across our social media and website very soon in the comic months! They will also be featured across print materials for upcoming events and other activities. We hope you love them as much as we do!
